Rooting for Ideas 
Hi! I want to get some pink pussy willows. Do deer eat them? If so, will they decimate them? Thank you. Also – I live in Montgomery Center. Other pussy willows survive here. Will the pink ones?
Hi Eileen,
Not sure where Montgomery Center is but pussy willows are very hardy and the pink one Michael sells at Vermont Willow is exceptionally hardy. I planted a few of the pink ones from 10″ cuttings last spring and I believe they grew about 4′ feet in one year. The deer occasional graze near willows but do not do any real damage. So I say go for it.
