High Summer -lots of changes

Things have  changed radically in just a couple of weeks. The meadow flowers have been hayed and have taken on a another beautiful form – round bales!

Dogs love jumping on the hay bales

The fields have turned an ocher dusty color that is reminiscent of high summer. The borders which were full of soft blues, pinks, have suddenly turned yellow with the Russian hollyhocks and day lilies.
